Here we have a scene of farm life in Achill…a typical old farmer’s cottage from years past…the fire is burning, the barrel collects rainwater for home use, and the old electric wires droop from years of wild winds, rain, and wet bogs. And as for the geese, they just live there, happy in their puddles.
